Bad Moon Rising is the 20th part of Chapter One of H2O.
Story[]
At the Sertori House; Cleo Sertori, Emma Gilbert, and Rikki Chadwick were getting ready for impending Lunar Eclipse. Kim Sertori and Samantha Sertori were playing a board game with Angela Dubois as Lewis McCartney and Zane Bennett arrived to help them as Cleo was reading Louise's notes to learn that the Moonlight Amulet will not protect them against the Lunar Eclipse.
At Patricia Gilbert's house; Patricia Gilbert was making dinner while Elliot Gilbert and Will Benjamin were studying as they were recovering from the latest attack.
Miriam Kent was working to free Thomas Kent as she was growing concerned about the Lunar Eclipse. The growing cardamom increase had made it difficult to manipulate the mind of the residence. Terry Chadwick noticed her and proceeded to approach as he threatens her to leave as Carly Morgan approached him demanded to know why she was arrested and memories were disappearing. Terry decided to reveal the truth to her before sedating Miriam and taking her to jail cell.
Kim decided to take Angela to the Newsagency as she decided to not let Angela near the Merfolk stuff. As the phase of the Lunar Eclipse began; Samantha went to answer the phone as rang, but when she went to push a cup of water aside she burnt her hand as it boiled. Lewis noticed that the water was also starting the boil when he realised the Lunar Eclipse was already taking affect. The girls realised their presence could be dangerous for the town and decided to flee to Mako Island.
Miriam was also already starting to be affected by the Lunar Eclipse. She was hissing and growling at Carly as she was watching over her. Carly attempted to help her but Terry ordered her away as a scratch from a Naga is fatal.
The girls were sitting near stream as it was beginning to boil while Lewis and Zane arrive to help when Rikki became intoxicated by the Lunar Eclipse causing her to kiss Zane. Meanwhile; Miriam continued to rattle her cell door as it was the bars were beginning to bend. Terry realised that she was going break free and he told Carly to start running as they fled from the station as the door of the cell flew off. Miriam burst through the door seemed feral and aggressive as she was hissing nonstop. She attacked a tour bus driver and tore out his heart. Miriam began eating it before darting off.
The air began heating around Rikki and Zane causing it to stink them both, however, he pressed a handful of witch-hazel against causing her to stop. Rikki rushed to the water to heal and cure herself. Miriam continued to hunt down Terry and Carly. A car thief was in the middle of trying to open a car as the lunar eclipse begins to end. Miriam proceeded to punch the car thief in the chest causing traumatic injury to him and thus killing him.
Rikki, Emma, and Cleo began to regain control of their magic as Lewis and Zane run out of witch-hazel. Miriam began to regain cognitive awareness as she slowly began to transform back into her human form. Terry managed to subdue her and take her back as the lunar eclipse was coming to its end.
By morning the girls had returned and Angela asked about their trip. Cleo asked to be alone with her friends to which she reluctantly leaves to hang out with Samantha. Miriam recovers from her night and noticed that she was in the woods as Thomas Kent told her that while everyone was preoccupied with the lunar eclipse he began the steps to clean the waters. Miriam smirked and told him that it was time to get to work.
