The first chapter of H₂O will begin with the Neil Gilbert Arc.

Themes

The themes for each part of Chapter One are loosely based on season 1 of H₂O: Just Add Water with a several difference in the first arc such as Neil Gilbert being the antagonist and a Rakshasa.

• This arc takes place a month after the first and focuses on the arrival of mysterious charismatic newcomer Linda Denman.

Arc III: The Miriam Arc (Part. 015 - 022

• This arc takes place a few months later and focuses on the revelation of Miriam Kent being a Naga.

001	Metamorphosis	After returning from Mako Island; Rikki, Emma, and Cleo are faced with the sudden change in their lives as they are now Mermaids.
002	Catch of the Day	Emma and Rikki spend the day together when they encounter a whaling vessel and proceed to sabotage it causing the whalers to mistake them for sharks when they're spotted. Neil tricks the mayor into attacking Thomas Kent in order to get him arrested forcing Cleo into recruiting Lewis helping her.
003	Something Fishy	Determined to maintain a normal life, Emma encourages Rikki Chadwick to have her annual sleepover. Emma gets splashed force her to remain in her sleeping bag due to her reverting to her mermaid form. Meanwhile; a mysterious woman meets with Cleo and attempts to help her with new abilities, but they are interrupted when Kim finds evidence of Cleo's new abilities and tries to spy on her and Miriam during the Queen of the Sea.
004	Spell of the Moon	During the phase of Full Moon; Emma, Cleo, and Rikki are afflicted with the "Moon Spell" causing them to become carefree. Zane becomes obsessed with a "sea monster" after a Moon Spell-crazed Rikki attacks him while he was scuba diving. Lewis and Louise Chatham team-up against a vampire that has come to town.
005	The Camera Never Lies	Zane exploits the annoucement of the town's Filming Competition to try find evidence of the "Sea Monster". With their new Moon Rings Cleo, Emma, and Rikki attempt to resume their normal life while Lewis returns to his line of work. Lyla ends her friendship with Cam and Zane in order to stay friends with Rikki and apologises to Elliot by helping him with Filming Competition.
006	Sink or Swim	Emma decides to help Byron with his Swimming Competition, but quits after he kept insulting Cleo. Rikki spends the day with Louise Chatham to learn more magic. Lewis joins the Swimming Competition to spite Zane. Neil begins to make his plans to expose the girls. Cleo makes a vlog on Mako Island after swimming to island.
007	Dangerous Waters	Rikki discovers that a fish smuggling operation was being conducted near Mako Island led by Neil Gilbert. The girls, Lewis, and Louise team-up to stop him. Thomas and Terry continue to maintain the secrecy of the Merfolk from the Inner Circle causing them to become suspicious.
008	The Denman Affair	After the death of Neil Gilbert; a charismatic newcomer, Dr. Denman, tempts Lewis with a job offer. Zane search for a "sea monster" causes a learn something about himself. The girls attempt to have a normal life. Louise investigates the cause of Neil's false memories.
009	Lovesick	Cleo decides to get a job at the Southbank Aquarium and befriends a Dolphin named Ronnie. Rikki and Patricia decided to try to patch their relationship up. Emma Gilbert helps Louise get her boat seaworthy. Dr. Denman puts Lewis's life at risk in order to capture a "sea monster".
010	Surprise!	Terry plans a surprise birthday party for Rikki. Lyla attempts to rescue Elliot and Samantha from Dr. Denman. Kim discovers Cleo's secret along with her parents' secret.
011	Shipwrecked	Zane becomes the target of Dr. Denman and the Inner Circle after capturing Rikki's tail on camera. Rikki reveals her secret to Zane in order to save him from the sinking of Lorelei. Cam tries to break the friendship of Emma and Lyla in order to have Lyla part of the group again.
012	Red Herring	Louise exposes herself as a Mermaid to Dr. Denman in order to protect the girls secret and to throw her off their trail. Sherilee tries to stop Zane from learning the truth of his father.
013	Under the Weather	The destruction of their rings forces the girls to stay during a rainy day while Lewis] and Zane attempt to procure the requirements for new Mermaid Moon Rings. Lyla and Cam are sought out by Sherilee to help her cover up the truth of Zane's fathers death.
014	A Twist in the Tail	Dr. Denman discovers the girls' secret and traps them on Mako Island. Miriam teams up with Lewis and Lyla to save the girls, but was forced to reveal a secret of her own.
015	The Naga Effect	Miriam's secret is out and the girls along with Zane, Lewis, Lyla, and the Inner Circle members team-up to try and find her. Thomas learns the truth about Miriam and betrays the Inner Circle.
016	Fish Out of Water	Miriam Kent revelation of controlling the town for years is revealed and learns that people her ingest Cardamom frequently are immune to mind alterations. The girls discover a necklace identical to Louise's being sold and chaos reigns as Miriam buys it. Thomas continues to support Miriam.
017	Naga Danger	Miriam Kent, Thomas Kent, and Byron cause turmoil as they kidnap Patricia and Elliot Gilbert in order to blackmail the girls into stopping the Cardamom being added into the town's water supply
018	Love Potion #9	Lewis McCartney's attempt to suppress the abilities of Miriam Kent has an unexpected side-effect.
019	Hurricane Angela	Cleo Sertori's cousin Angela unexpectedly visits, however, she doesn't believe the reasons for her visit are legitimate while Samantha Sertori tries to distract herself from school work.
020	Bad Moon Rising	A Lunar Eclipse arrives in Southbank and the girls go crazy as their powers cause them to boil everything while Miriam Kent becomes a vicious killer.
021	Hook, Line and Sinker	The town's annual fishing competition occurs with Emma Gilbert and Cleo Sertori helping Lewis McCartney win. Miriam Kent's goal to regain her foothold of the town starts to take fruition.
022	In Too Deep	Cleo Sertori, Emma Gilbert, and Rikki Chadwick battle against Miriam Kent for the future of Southbank.
