Dante Salvatore is a warlock that specialises in spell casting, spell creating, and necromancy. Due to a binding spell, he had been trapped in his estate for 675+ years until being released by Skylar Salvatore. After being released by his sister multiple covens tracked him down to Scotland, where he was apprehended after they learned that he had somehow accessed higher magicks of time and space. He would again flee though in exchange for his mind and knowledge he would be able to be freed in 1774.
Early Life[]
When Dante was a young warlock, he grew up alongside his 4 siblings. Dante is an old warlock who moved from university to university in order keep up with the times and to increase his mind. At the age of 17, Dante published his first poetry collection. He also painted with Niklaus Mikaelson and taught stage magic to many people. In the early 11th century, Dante joined a coven and would attempt to kill one of the members within the coven. The head of the coven ( a man named was Ryker) would start to keep an eye of Dante. Fascinated by Ryker's revolutionary and controversial ideas, Dante and unknown accomplices attempted to blow up the Vatican as well as the entirety of the witches that reside in Cherrysville, Louisiana. Dante was the only witch to be apprehended among all the culprits. Although he was offered immunity in exchange for the names of his coven members, Dante did not betray the coven and for that reason was confined to his estate with a binding spell. Since then, he began working as a full time poet there, coping with his depression and loneliness with sarcasm, jokes, writing and family affection. In the Early 13th Century Dante created a poem titled The Divine Comedy. He coined the term "Dante's Inferno", after he had multiple visions of him and a friend (named Virgil) travelling through "Hell".
In the late 17th Century Dante would be freed in exchange for knowledge and getting a better understanding of how he thought.
Physical Appearance[]
Dante is an old British warlock of African and Caucasian descent. Despite his age (1000+), he appears as a muscular young man in his twenties. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Clothing[]
Because he was trapped in the house by a curse and binding spell for so long, Dante was more often than not barefoot and wearing trousers as well as a silk robe on a bare chest. When there was occasions when Dante left the house, he wore a velvet blazer, shirt, pants, and Chelsea boots.
After being freed he often dawned fashionable suits, and luxurious attire.
Personality[]
Dante is a sagacious and witty man who is always ready to assist his family (mostly Skylar due to her freeing him). Although Dante enjoys taking part in spells or indulging his own lust with other witches of all genders, he is also a learned witch who has personally experienced the price of having to being contained. Dante's knowledge of witchcraft spans many occult disciplines and practices, including exorcisms and necromancy. Because he was confined to his home, Dante has slowly developed a form of depression fueled by a sense of loneliness and isolation.
Powers and Abilities[]
Dante is a warlock with a vast knowledge of witchcraft and spell-casting. His powers include telekinesis, teleportation, warding, and containment. Dante also knows how to astral project and control the weather with spells, summoning storms and tornadoes at ease. Ambrose is described as a necromancer, although he only hinted at it when he asked Skylar if she wanted him to resurrect a bat. Dante owns a magic wand that he uses to enhance his spells and also to generate and control electricity, thus having the power of electrokinesis. Dante often reads tarot cards as a pastime like when he had to keep company to Skylar. Dante doesn't have any qualms at hexing and cursing people, and when Skylar asked for his help in hexing someone by conjuring spiders, Dante wondered if she didn't want to kill him instead with magic. As a full warlock, Dante aged at a slower rate than mortals, though through an unknown spell that granted his mother Immortality, so too did Dante.
Other Abilities[]
- Teleportation: The ability to teleport place to place.
- Rage: When angry Dante's abilities increase by several folds.
- Super Strength: Due to training quite hard in the 16th century and devoting the time period to getting stronger Dante has developed super strength that is above the average witch and almost Vampire. With over 100 years of training behind his punches he is quite strong.
- Regeneration: Dante has tremendous healing that can heal the deepest of wounds within several minutes.
Powers[]
Along with his supernatural abilities, Ambrose is also good at swordsmanship, hand-to-hand combat, and even is an experienced writer.

Dante has the typical and regular powers of a witch on his caliber.
