Dark Timeline

The Dark Timeline refers to the Timeline created by Aries, Gemini, and Virgo in order to stop try to stop the Time Ripple with Zodiac Supernova Spell which resulted in the destruction of the Original timeline and the entire multiverse. In this timeline only a sinlge Universe exists.

People and locations unaffected by the temporal changes

• Olga Milkov - Since she's an Original Vampire and was in the Zodiac Time Chamber at the time - she was spared erasure as well as retained her abilities without issue.
• Josie Saltzman (Omega) - Since she's an Original Hybrid and was in the Zodiac Time Chamber at the time - she was spared erasure as well as retained her abilities without issue.
• Lizzie Saltzman (Omega) - Since she's an Original Hybrid and was in the Zodiac Time Chamber at the time - she was spared erasure as well as retained her abilities without issue.
• Hope Mikaelson (Omega) - She was spared erasure and negative effects due to being in the Zodiac Time Chamber.
• Æthelwulf - He was spared erasure and negative effects due to being in the Zodiac Time Chamber.
• Stacey Masters - He was spared erasure and negative effects due to being in the Zodiac Time Chamber.
• Regina Collins - She was spared erasure and negative effects due to being in the Zodiac Time Chamber.
• Charlotte (Omega) - She was spared erasure and negative effects due to being in the Zodiac Time Chamber.
• Southbank and its inhabitants - Since Southbank was marked by Virgo - it remains unaffected by any changes in the timeline and cannot be destroyed by Zodiac magic.
• Mako Island and its magical aspects - Much like Southbank - Mako Island remains outside the effects of temporal changes and as a result cannot remained protected.
• Zodiacs - Zodiac cannot be affected by changes in the Timeline and will also be spared from the Zodiac Supernova Spell.

22nd Century BC

• Several decades prior to 2200 BC, Arcadius, the world's first psychic, was born in the Mediterranean region.
• Around 2200 BC, Arcadius was banished to pre-discovery Australia for using his powers to try to stop a man from acting on his impure thoughts. Arcadius would become a prominent member of the Dyirbal people.

8th Century BC

• Seline and Sybil were killed instead of being banished after using their powers to save an innocent man for being condemned murder by the actual murderer - who was a prominent figure. The prominent figure would turn out to be Ophiuchus; the 13th Zodiac. Ophiuchus would raise them as a Sirens and trapped on an island to lure men to deaths.
• 750 BC: Seline and Sybil are tasked with influencing people to commit evil deeds

1st Century BC

• Silas and Amara result in the Petrova and Salvatore doppelganger lines after becoming Immortals. Qetsiyah was killed by Silas after she created the Other Side without establishing an anchor and thus the other side collapses before he can properly be used. Qetsiyah's cure was created before her death and sealed in the same island from Dark Timeline but without Silas.
• Malivore was created early than he was in the Original Timeline and was thus used to house the soul of Qetsiyah by Ophiuchus to use her as an anchor for his "Other Side" dimension which becomes an afterlife for all.
• In 10 BC - Malivore absorbs Silas and Amara causing them to be erased from the collective conscious along with Sybil and Seline.

Before 5th Century AD

• Excalibur, Camelot, and Nimue all mysteriously disappeared plunging the world into the Dark Ages.

1001

• Henrik's death resulted in Esther Mikaelson creating the Original Vampires. Klaus' werewolf side was suppressed by Esther.

1472

• July 5: Katerina Petrova was born in Bulgaria to a Traveler and Human mother.

1489

• Katerina gives birth to Nadia Petrova which was taken away from her and she was exiled and disowned for her actions.
• March 10: David Phoenix, Æthelwulf, and Rajesh Tripathi exited the Zodiac Time Chamber in this year.
  • David befriends Katerina Petrova while Æthelwulf and Rajesh tour 14th century England.
  • Seline and Sybil are released from Malivore to hunt David Phoenix.
  • David begins dying to the nature of his abilities dependent on Phoenix blood currently doesn't exist.
  • Olga Milkov meets Katerina Petrova
  • Rajesh prevents the creation of Rakshasa in the Dark Fantasy by killing the progenitors and thus the magic that's responsible for his existing was never created in the Dark Timeline and as a result Rajesh starts dying.
• March 12: David and Rajesh meet Seline and Sybil.
  • David convinces Olga into compelling Trevor into believing that he was David Phoenix and through the magic of Gemini she was able to place every memory of David's into Trevor's mind including David telling Olga to compel Trevor into becoming David. David and Rajesh jump into Malivore to be spared from their deaths. Causing Olga to forget her relationship with David.
• March 14: "David", Olga, and Aethelwulf tell Katerina that their vampires. "David" warns Katerina of Klaus.
• March 15: Katerina helps "David" find several witches to dissolve Malivore in a cave near what would one day be called Mystic Falls.
• April 1: Niklaus Mikaelson arrives in Westminster along with his siblings. The Mikaelsons are made aware of Olga and Aethelwulf.
• April 6: Katerina is sacrificed to break the Hybrid curse but was resurrected by Aries. Klaus learns that Doppelganger blood was necessary to make proper hybrids.
  • Katerina tricks Kol Mikaelson into creating the Golden White Oak Ash Dagger so that she can dagger Klaus and escape England.
  • The rest of the Mikaelson were daggered by Olga.
  • Katerina was killed by Seline after was sirened into believing that her father paid the man to get her pregnant with Nadia and thus killed her own father after returning to Bulgaria.
  • Gemini buried Katerina near Malivore.

1589

• Ophiuchus undaggered Klaus and allowed him to reign uncheck for the next few centuries.

1680

• Lexi was turned into a vampire by Olga Milkov.
• Olga and Aethelwulf arrived in Salem after travelling the world together with "David".
• Olga manages to dagger Mikael and used his blood to produce Mikael's vampire bloodline.

1694

• November 3: The real David Phoenix was retrieved from Malivore by surviving Bennett witches from Salem. David Phoenix chose to be stripped of his Upgraded Supernatural Hunter abilities and became Human again thanks to the Dark Timeline causing his immunity to magic to become undone.
• November 4: David Phoenix is turned into a Supernatural Hunter with help with Gemini and Aries.
• November 5: Aries turned to the entire settlement of Salem into a Vampire using Mikael's blood before allowing David to stake Mikael with a White Oak stake killing them. Thus allowed him to advance his Hunter's Mark.
  • David remembers the Island from the Original Timeline and went to reclaim the cure.
  • David encounters an undaggered Rebekah Mikaelson, Elijah Mikaelson, and Kol. David forcibly cures Kol of Vampirism.
  • David became Human again but was able to transfer his power of to Kol.
• November 7: Olga and Aethelwulf break-up while David resumes his relationship with Olga after he has a witch return the memories of him that were erased by Malivore. David throw Kol into Malivore.
• November 8: Seline arrived in Salem along with Sybil. Gemini creates a cure for immortality. David cures Seline and Sybil before beheading them.
• November 12: David was placed back into the Zodiac Time Chamber and resumed his slumber as Olga and Aethelwulf continued to remain in the Dark Timeline.

1864

• September 25: Olga Milkov with her Humanity off arrived in Mystic Falls along with Aethelwulf whom else switched his emotions off.
  • Olga began her trickery of Damon Salvatore before turning him into a Vampire while Aethelwulf turned Stefan Salvatore on a whim.

1958

• January 1: David was awoken due to a malfunction in the Time Chamber. He helps Olga recover her Humanity and helps her save Damon Salvatore and Enzo from the Augustine society. David is turned into a Vampire.
• January 12: David, Damon, and Enzo hunt down the members of the Augustine society, but instead of killing them; David convinces them to shove them in the malivore pit.

1992

• July 22: Elena Gilbert and Landon Kirby are born this year unlike their counterparts. Ophiuchus turns reprograms Malivore to prevent Landon being born as a Phoenix and thus preventing the existence of Phoenixes. Ophiuchus conditions Landon into hating Vampires along with Elena Gilbert.

2009

• September 4: Regina Collins, Stacey Masters, the twins, and Hope are all awakened.
  • Hope and Regina are quick to realise that the others awoke in a different time.
  • Mason Lockwood transformed into a werewolf for the first time and under the guidance of Ophiuchus; he was made aware of Hope and was tasked with her death.
  • The Twins meet Damon Salvatore who has no idea who Katerina Petrova is and was turned by Olga Milkov instead while Stefan Salvatore was turned by Æthelwulf instead of Katerina.
• September 6: Fuelled by Virgo's magic; Josie Saltzman compelled the memories of Damon and Stefan's memories from the Original Timeline into the new Damon and new Stefan including everything that occurred with after they met Elena.
• September 7: Elena Gilbert meets Landon Kirby and helps him attempt to kill Lexi Branson.
• October 7: Damon and Stefan managed to capture Elena and Landon in order to try to compel them, but they were on vervain. David arrived in Mystic Falls. Klaus also arrives in town. Olga manages to get Elena off vervain long enough to compel the memories of Elena Gilbert from the Original Timeline into her.
• October 8: The sireline of Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, and Olga are broken by the Strix. David becomes an Upgraded Original Vampire by the Ancestors. David was forced by the Ancestors to bite Olga. Olga was placed in the Zodiac Time Chamber to stop her from dying.
• October 31: Kol was freed from Malivore and David feeds on Kol to consume the cure. Hope sets Mystic Grill alight to stop Kol from killing David and becomes a fully activated Tribrid.

• November 1: A cure for David's bite was created and used to cure Olga. The Ancestors' link was severed by Aries.
• November 3: A second temporal ripple was detected by Aries.
• November 5: David becomes an Upgraded Supernatural Hunter after Aries recreates the conditions using items from the destroyed original timeline. Since Kiatero and Leprechaun gold don't exist in the Dark Timeline - the new fatal weakness for Zodiacs was now Zircon.
• November 6: David tricks Ophiuchus into a drinking Zircon-laced Bourbon enabling Aries, Gemini, and Virgo to place David into the Zodiac Time Chamber once again along with Josie Saltzman, Lizzie Saltzman, Hope Mikaelson, Olga Milkov, Damon Salvatore, Stefan Salvatore, Elena Gilbert, Stacey Masters, Regina Collins, Malivore, and Aethelwulf. Landon Kirby sneaks into the Time Chamber.
  • Aries, Gemini, and Virgo start another Zodiac Supernova Spell to the destroy universe and timeline once again.
  • The Original Timeline was fully restored while the Omega Universe was recreated with a new timeline. A new multiverse was created, however, a barrier placed by the Zodiacs now prevents interdimensional travel between realms. The main universe's timeline is the exact same timeline as provided by the official Vampire Diaries, The Originals, and Legacies shows. Southbank and Mako Island now only exist the New Omega Universe.
