Insurance Policy is the 22nd and final part of Chapter Two of Omega Chronicles.
Story[]
Mara made it to clearing in South Millstream and proceeded to make Magica circle around her as she drew blood from Syrah. Syrah told her that it won't work unless the solar eclipse was at its apex. Mara told her that she knew how the spear worked and told her that she gave herself time.
Aries and Virgo arrived as Regina Collins awoke confused as she felt a rush of power before gaining Josie's knowledge and learning that Josie had planned to surrender her power to Regina after the battle and learner that Josie had always planned derail the twins part in the Prophecy. She realised that battle was truly over as Mara still had to be stopped and awoke everyone.
David Phoenix, Rajesh Tripathi, Olga Milkov, William Smallwood with David mourning the twins and Hope before asking Aries to do a locator spell to get to Syrah. They proceeded to do so, but find that Mara was going to great lengths to keep each other hidden forcing David to use the internet to find a clearing.
Mara told Syrah that she will use the Spear destroy each and every one of the Universes until only the Anti Universe remained. Syrah told her that her goal was as uninventive as it gets. Mara told her that she was going to make herself omnipotent after and make her own new world. Mara used her powers to send her to sleep.
David told Rajesh and Olga that the only place that could be Mara choice was an area in South Millstream and proceeded to take a vial of Gemini's stardust and a dagger for each of them. They drove over to the clearing and confronted Mara. Mara used her magic against them and flung Rajesh and Olga back but David was mostly unaffected causing Mara to form a spear using the rocks around and attempt to pierce him, but he managed to duck in time. Regina arrived and announced that she was the 13th Zodiac now and used her powers to mimic David's powers before assisting him with the battle. Regina proceeded to mimic the power of Mara as she managed to stab her with a stick allowing her to be overwhelmed with power. Mara mocked her for trying to copy a Goddess power but Regina proved herself to be strong enough to adapt her power. Regina was about to attack her when Aries and Virgo arrived to assist her. Mara grabbed David's dagger and proceeded to generate some Montsechia Vidalii and used it to poison Regina long enough to dagger her with Gemini's stardust. She proceeded to use her powers to snap the neck of Virgo but Aries simply threw the spear to her as the Solar Eclipse reaches it apex with David, Olga, and Rajesh confused.
Mara began using the Spear and muttering her spell as she dips it in Syrah's blood. The spear began to glow before a blinding light burst from it. David awoke to hear Aries laugh as she revealed that she used it earlier by creating her own Solar Eclipse. She revealed that she altered it so it would take three different effects and recreate three realities as alternate universes and a second effect was added. David rushed her as she was confused with Rajesh and Olga to stab her, however, a second burst of light took affect with spear disappearing along with the three.
Mara was left standing in the clearing as she was confused as she remembered that she was forced to let go with the spear when she was stabbed and the three of them grabbing it. Aries revealed that the secondary function she placed on it was for it to be separated and sent to the three universes along with whoever was holding it. Regina managed to recover from Mara's attack before grabbing her only for Aries to not bother as the third effect as left her de-powered. Mara was alarmed and attempted to use her powers but nothing happened as everyone left her at the clearing.
Aries, Virgo, William Smallwood, and Regina Collins were drinking to their defeat of Mara with Syrah recovering and they contemplated how they were going to bring back David, Olga, and Rajesh now that they were missing.
David Phoenix awoke in a bus stop as he noticed with pictures of Milton Greasley, Emma Tig, and others with their eyes crossed out. A man with Triad Industries logos on him was about to attack David when he used his piece of the spear of destiny to kill him as he wondered where he was.
