Season Six[]
Ivy makes her first appearance in I'll Remember. She enters where she interacts with Stefan Salvatore in their bedroom in Georgia. It is revealed that Ivy and Stefan were dating for nearly two months. When Stefan tells Ivy that he is in fact a vampire, Ivy took it as a joke.
In Yellow Ledbetter, after an awkward dinner with Stefan, Caroline Forbes, and Enzo, Ivy is killed by Enzo, who comes back into the house and snaps her neck after Stefan hurt Caroline's feelings, as well as revenge for Stefan giving up on finding Damon.
In Black Hole Sun, it is revealed that Enzo fed Ivy some of his blood and Ivy is turned into a vampire.
In The World Has Turned and Left Me Here, Ivy was angry at Stefan and blamed him for becoming a bloodthirsty vampire after she killed Dean, who was her only victim. When Stefan was trying to help and calm her down, Ivy tried to attack him before he snaps her neck. Stefan then seeks the help of Caroline in dealing with Ivy's vampire cravings. Caroline keeps Ivy in her dorm, while Stefan goes to fetch Ivy a daylight ring. When Caroline turns around to get board games, Ivy snaps her neck and escapes during the nighttime. After she fed on a man that she finds in the street, Ivy realized that she doesn't know how to compel him to forget what she did. After contacting Caroline and apologized, Ivy was captured by Tripp Cooke before Caroline could reach her.
In The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get, Ivy was chained in the back of Tripp's van with Enzo and Damon Salvatore. After learning that she, Damon, and Enzo were going to die once they pass the border of Mystic Falls, Ivy blamed Enzo for turning her and called him a monster for ruining her life. As they were getting closer to the border, Alaric shows up and asks Tripp for a lift while Ivy, with Damon's help, was able to free herself. When Tripp ends up driving them all across the border, Ivy managed to break through the doors and jump out the van just in time. She watched as Stefan managed to save both Damon and Enzo in time but not Alaric, who was saved by Doctor Jo and turned back into a human.
In Do You Remember the First Time?, Stefan mentioned to Caroline in a deleted scene that Ivy left town with Lexi, who promised to take care of her for a while.
