Kayleigh Salvatore, Born Katerina Salvatore-King is the only daughter between Darius Salvatore and Evelyn King. Kayleigh was born in 1773 and is a member of The Gibson, Salvatore, and King Family.

When Kayleigh was born she would be raised within "Darius' Estate" until adulthood. She would turn multiple unnamed people into Vampires via her blood and would slow down her aging via The Longevity Spell. It was also known that she went to an ivy league university and graduated.

Katheryn was born to Evelyn King and Darius Salvatore and would be raised by her father for a large portion of her life. At 24 (the age of Kathryn's death as a mortal)
Kayleigh's First Death[]
In 1974 a man by the name of Luca Hastings (who had been carrying on Carmen's ideals and legacy since 1814) would acquire a Preeminent Stake and would go to Mystic Falls in order to make Darius pay for killing Carmen. Unable to harm Darius (because he was too powerful), Luca would stab Katheryn in the heart, causing her body to burn up in blue flames. Katheryn would say goodbye to her father, before she was literally and figuratively annihilated by the flames.
Resurrection[]
Not long after her death she would awaken as an Original Preeminent Vampire in transition. When she got up she would kill Regenold Forest, completing her transition into an Original Preeminent Vampire-Witch Hybrid.
Kayleigh is stopped by Luca.
Physical Appearance[]
Kayleigh is mentioned as a very beautiful person. She is also described to have large eyes and long, delicate eyebrows. Her hair is long and blonde, falling down to the middle of her back (typically). Her nose is thin and her cheekbones are prominent. Kayleigh's eyebrows are darker than her hair and they are arched. Her eyes also become larger when she is slightly angered and they have a golden/brown-like color.
She is described as a young woman, looking about 18 years of age, despite being over 200+ years old, and she stands at the height of 5'4". She also has a soft spoken voice, it is also known. She usually wears casual or feminine clothes (i.e shirts, leather jackets, jean jackets, and/or skirts).
