Merfolk Magic (also known as a Mermaid Magic, Merman Magic, and Merpeople Magic) is a form of magic used by Merfolk. Most of their magic includes water and the incantations also include "Aqua" in the names. Merfolk generally channel water currents and other forms of Hydrokinetic energy from water-based sources. As a loophole - since Humans are 60% water - Merfolk can harmlessly channel ordinary Humans.

Spells[]

Water Summoning Spell[]

Incantation: Orbis Aqua

The water summoning spell enables a mermaid to summon a puddle of water in a location that they are looking at or where they've aimed their hands.

Flammable Water Spell[]

Incantation: Aqua Convertat Ignibilia

A spell that can make water as flammable as petroleum.

Reversion Spell[]

Incantation: Revertatur

Undoes all non-offensive Merfolk Magic, however, the Liquefication Spell being undone by this spell doesn't turn them back into to their original solid state, but a more of a puree/paste if the spell was used on living creatures.

Water Solidification Spell[]

Incantation: Facere Aqua Solidum

The ability to turn water and other liquid matter solid.

Liquefication Spell[]

Incantation: Facere Liquidus

The ability to liquefy solid and even gas matter. Can be used offensively, but is mostly for supportive or defensive purposes.

Heating Spell[]

Incantation: Infervesco

A spell which can heat up any liquid matter.

Air Blast Spell[]

Incantation: Caeli Inspiratione Mirum

An offensive spell that can create a small Aerokinetic explosion.

Water Communication Spell[]

Incantation: Communicare Aqua Fluctus
Requirements: Saltwater, Personal property of Target

A spell which allows them to communicate with a Merfolk using their personal property.

Molecular Combustion Spell[]

Incantation: Dra Sönder Detonera

A Swedish offensive spell used by Lyla to use Molecular Combustion.

Acidic Water Spell[]

Incanttation: Aqua Dissolvere

A spell that turns any body of water into extremely acidic.

Boundary Spells[]

Water Boundary Spell[]

Requirements: Five bowls of water and Merfolk to perform the spell
Incantation: Vinctum Per Aqua

A spell which can be used to bound an non-Merfolk individual Supernatural or not. Merfolk can cross the barrier and leave the barrier at will. The boundary spell can be undone either by a Merfolk or if a different liquid such as saliva were to enter one of the bowls.

Merfolk Boundary Spell[]

Requirements: Blood from a specified Merfolk, water, and a chair

A spell which can be used by Merfolk to bound another Merfolk to a room or house. It is down by drawing blood from the Merfolk they wish to bound, place it in a bowl water, and sitting the bowl on a chair facing the door of the room they wish to bound them to.

Reverse Threshold Spell[]

Requirements: Blood from a Vampire, Sea water, a home, and vervain

A spell which makes it so that a Vampire cannot leave house without being told they can leave.

Enchantments and Creation Spells[]

Merfolk Moon Amulet Creation Spell[]

Requirements: Saltwater, Freshwater, natural Pearl, Full Moon, and blood of a sea turtle
Incantation: Mare Flumen Potentia Dominus

A spell which when cast turns ring or necklace that has a natural pearl on it into a protection for a Mermaid to be grant them immunity from the effects of the Full Moon as well as to control their ability to transform when exposed to water.

Merfolk Moon Amulet Bounding Spell[]

Requirements: A Mermaid Moon Amulet, the wearer of the Amulet, and the name of the wearer engraved into the amulet
Incantation: Amoletum Restringere Possessionem

A spell which when cast makes it so that the Merfolk Moon Amulet can only be removed by the name engraved onto the Amulet.

Lewis's Compound Creation Spell[]

Requirements: Witch-hazel, cardamom, blood of a mouse, salt water, ambergris, and an astrological event.

A spell which channels the power of an astrological event such as rain, lightning, or cyclone into combining the ingredients into a spray which was originally intended control a Naga, but instead it causes a Nagini to gain an increased sexual drive.

Protector Blood Weapon Creation Spell[]

Requirements: Protector Bloodline from three bloodlines

A spell which can create a blood weapon using the blood of the Sertori, Gilbert, and Chadwick bloodlines.

Naga Venom Weapon Creation Spell[]

Requirements: Venom from a Naga

A spell which can allow the user to make bullets, swords, and other weapons using Naga Venom.

Water Invisibility Spell[]

Requirements: Saltwater, an object, and Blood from a Pureblood Merfolk.
Incantation: wai te kore e kitea

A Maori Merfolk Enchantment spell that can turn an accessory that can make the wearer invisible when in water.

Resurrection[]

Merfolk Damaged Body Resurrection Spell[]

Requirements: Spirit, a Beheaded or dismembered corpse, Merfolk Magic, tear of a Merfolk, & sea water

A spell which when used upon a corpse that has been beheaded or dismembered will completely restore the body with no damage and than resurrect the intended target.

Merfolk Resurrection Spell[]

Requirements: Merfolk Magic, a corpse, and sea water.

A simple spell to resurrect Merfolk.

Linking Spells[]

Vampire Merfolk Linking Spell[]

Requirements: Blood of a target, Blood of a Merfolk, & a rope.

A linking spell that also doubles a channelling spell which in allows a Merfolk to link their lives to a Vampire.

Unlinking Spells=[]

Progenitor Unlinking Spell[]

Requirements: Blood of a target, a part (or blood) of what their linked to, and three Merfolk

An unlinking spell that can sever any link including a Vampire's Bloodline for all vampires and subsequent Vampires.
