Protectors are the result of a spell that the Rakshasa Coven placed on the Sertori, Gilbert, and Chadwick Bloodlines. These bloodlines are exclusively located within Australia as of the 21st century.
Creation[]
The spell that was used to infuse the blood of the three bloodlines involved the a bone from each of their respective mother and father, their own blood, and a strand of hair from each of their first-born children being added to ceremonial bowl. Additionally, a tea brewed with sage, the venom of 20 of the world's deadliest snakes, and the heart of a woodrat which is magically brewed into a drinkable slurry which is added to the ceremonial bowl.
Once the spell was complete - the Rakshasa Coven linked Cleo's, Emma's, and Rikki's respective ancestors their children and get them to drink the tea which magically imbues their blood with mystical properties.
History[]
William Chadwick, Marco Sertori, and Idjal Gilbert were in 17th century India for their own reasons, but were eventually found dehydrated by the Rakshasa Coven and nursed back to half by a few sympathetic coven members. After discovering a Naga scratch on Marco's leg - they were able to make a cure to help him. Eventually, the three asked to do a spell that'll bless their blood with properties that work against Nagas and other Moon Pool creatures. They decided to exclude Merfolk and agreed to do the spell.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Naga Venom Cure: The combine blood of the three Protectors can cure the bite and/or scratch of a Naga. One that is a descendant of all three bloodlines doesn't need additional protectors.
- Immunity to Mental Manipulation: While they are immune to the memory manipulation abilities of a Naga.
- Moon Pool Curing: The blood of all three protectors can turn any creatures turned by a Moon Pool back into the Species they were originally except for Merfolk.
Weaknesses[]
- Mortality: Protectors are mortal and can die through all known mortal means.
- Witchcraft: They are susceptible to magic.
