Rachel Macklyn is a recurring character in the second seasons of Vampire Bloodlines, making her debut in the second episode. She is a Witch - Vampire, Hybrid, and the daughter of Aemilia Macklyn, and twin sister of William.

History[]
Early Life[]
Rachel along with her twin brother was born in the early 14th century to Aemilia Macklyn, and an unnamed man that had rapped her mother. Once the two were born, their adopted father who was a Hybrid, the twos mother leaving them to be raised by the grandparents. On their 18th birthday both William, and Rachel left to find there mother who they believed to be dead.
Personality[]
Rachel is a sneaky, smart, and a ruthless girl who was raised to be a leader. Though she is compassionate to her friends, she is vengeful and unforgiving to anyone who doesn't actively help her. She is artistic and has a knack for casting spells.
Physical appearance[]
Rachel is described as a pretty girl with blonde hair, that reaches a little bit over her shoulders. She has green eyes and is of medium height.

Power and Abilities[]
The hybridization of a witch and a vampire has long been thought to be impossible. However, a subsection of mutated witches with the ability to siphon magic known as siphoners have shown to bypass this rule. A group known as the Heretics consists of these hybrids.

Weaknesses[]
If witch-vampire hybrids are killed by a wooden object stabbed through their heart, their body desiccates into a gray color, and their vampiric veins thicken and protrude from their skin. Witch-Vampire Hybrids can build up tolerances to some weaknesses, such as vervain, allowing them to protect themselves from compulsion by an Original and to help lessen the likelihood that it will seriously incapacitate them when used by enemies. However, it will still burn them upon contact, but if ingested, it will not weaken them as much if they take small amounts over time to increase their immunity.
