Rafael Waithe is the Alternate Reality version Rafael that was created by Lizzie's wish to Ablah for Hope to have never been born.
Personality[]
Unlike his main reality counterpart - Rafael of the Alternate Reality is harsh as well as pragmatic to others. Rafael was outed at a young age as a werewolf despite not yet having activated his werewolf side and faced abuse at the hands of his foster family while Landon was his only supporter.
After Aries restored him; Rafael gained an immense hatred of Lizzie Saltzman - seeing her as Landon's killer and swore revenge.
History[]
As a result of Lizzie wish for Hope to have never been born - a wish reality resulted in an apocalyptic world much different to the main reality. However, due to Lizzie's final wish for Ablah to have never encountered Malivore - Rafael along with the entire Wish reality was erased.
2031[]
However, Rafael's existence was restored by Aries and was informed of his reality's destruction and the one who caused it to ceased to exist.
Aries convinced Rafael to join the Salvatore School Pack after she convinced the main reality version to let Jed become Alpha again. Aries would later select Alternate Rafael as her target to turn into an Omega Werewolf and have him kill Jed in order to complete the transition. (Gemini later revives Jed).
After Aries left to go to Salem, Rafael stayed behind in order follow up with his revenge against Lizzie, but after Aries kidnapped Josie and Lizzie he arrived in Salem to get answers

Rafael possesses all the standard powers and abilities of a non-evolved werewolf. After becoming an Omega Werewolf; he possesses all the standard powers and abilities of an Omega Werewolf.
