The Rakshasa is a human converted ravenous, carnivorous, long-living humanoid. Unlike Vampire which are immortal; Rakshasas have an exorbitant lifespan and can live well beyond normal humans but not as long as Vampires as they aren't immortal and can eventually die of old. The natural lifespan of a Rakshasa increase with each heart consumed.
Real mythology[]
A Rakshasa is typically a mischievous and homicidal imp from Hindu Mythology.
Physical description[]
While typically Rakshasas are almost indistinguishable to Humans; the more hungry they get, the less human they look. A Rakshasa's true form consists of a brass-like colouration with large black pupils no irises, and redden hair.
History[]

In the year 5555 BC; an ancient Indian village which no longer exists in the present was in mass decline after being struck by an unknown illness and as such the villagers were running out of options to for food to which one such individual Yashvi went out to seek out the favor of Karma, the mother of the local gods of the area. However, during her travels most of the villagers refused to go hungry and proceeded to cannibalize most of children in the village. This act enraged Yashvi and Karma to which Yashvi asked for a fitting punishment and as such she got her request when the remaining villagers Yashvi's family as well as Yashvi herself were transformed into a Rakshasa, but Karma turned to entire village into Rakshasa and cursed them to live a long lifespan which required them to feed on fresh Human hearts to maintain their longevity.

Weaknesses[]
- Hunger: Rakshasas/Rakshasis have insatiable hunger that if they go without eating a heart for too long they slowly become feral and prone to attacking friend or foe indiscriminately.
- Magic: Rakshasas are susceptible to magic and siphoning. However, they possess far more resilience to magic despite being still affected by it.
- Invitation: Similar to Vampires; Raksasas and Rakshasis require invitation to enter a private residence.
- Botulinum toxin: Exposure or ingestion of anything that contains the Botulinum toxin causes a Rakshasa to become severely feverish and weak to the point that it can even hinder their healing abilities as well. Also, physical contact with Botulinum will burn a vampire's skin.
- Lepidopterophobia: For whatever reason - all Rakshasas/Rakshasis are irrational fearful of butterflies and moths mostly butterflies. Their presence causes Rakshasa/Rakshasi to flee in terror.
- Hearts: Rakshasa/Rakshasi require a regular consumption of human Hearts to maintain their longevity.
- Animal Hearts: Animal hearts are known to make Rakshasa/Rakshasis violently ill.
- Vampire Hearts: Vampire Hearts are capable of sustaining the longevity of a Rakshasa/Rakshasi but will leave them weakened.
- Mortality: Rakshasa/Rakshasi are technically still mortal just very hard to kill, however, Rakshasa that abstain from eating hearts for to long will not only inhibit their longevity but it will make them vulnerable to any attack or method of killing.
- Yashvi's dagger: A neolithic dagger that Yashvi possessed before her transformation coated in her blood which was used to contact Karma is the currently the only known weapon in the Omega Universe that can bypass a Rakshasa/Rakshasi's invulnerability and kill a Rakshasa/Rakshasi without starving them.
