Summary[]
The nature of the prophecy is rare as Zodiacs aren't usually included in Prophecies due to their Extra-dimensional nature as well as the fact that a Zodiac isn't bound by prophecies and therefore can choose whether or not they abide by it.
The only certainty of the prophecy that was foretold is that David would die as a result of stillbirth and be resurrected as a Rakshasa. However, due Gemini turning David into an Upgraded Supernatural Hunter - status of the prophecy is questionable. Gemini believes that is it fractured, but not destroyed.
It was later revealed by Dark Elena that prophecy very much still stands as she foresaw a battle between the New Omega Universe and the Anti Universe.
Participants of the Prophecy[]
- David Phoenix - David is the considered the key member of the prophecy, however, he refuses to abide by the prophecy and has often tried to separate himself from it.
- Cancer - Cancer is the Zodiac sired David as a Rakshasa
- Petrova Doppelganger line - A member of the Petrova doppelganger line play a role in the prophecy. Originally Elena Gilbert would fill this role, however, Olga Milkov is chosen instead.
- Salvatore Doppelganger line - The first doppelganger of the Salvatore line - Æthelwulf - is described to have a role.
Status[]
The current status of the Prophecy is currently unknown, but Gemini believes it to be fractured. The list of causes for the prophecy to be fractured are;
- David Phoenix becoming an Upgraded Supernatural Hunter.
- Elena Gilbert's role becomes Olga Milkov's role.
- Gemini's interference with the prophecy.
- Cancer's death.
- The inclusion of the Carina Doppelganger line.
- Æthelwulf has been killed and his role has been replaced by William Smallwood
- Dark Elena has died during the invasion instead of the battle.
