Samantha Nicole-Allison Salvatore (Sam) is the second child between Darius Salvatore and Tina Lockwood, Darius' 3rd daughter, and Darius' 5th child. She is also the sister of August Salvatore-Knight, Kim Salvatore, and brother to Darrien Salvatore as well as Alexander Salvatore-Knight.

Personality[]
Sam was very manipulative and pretended to be kind. However, she was also shown to be very confident. She has the ability to proficiently lie and scheme. Siena Agudong (The actor who portrays Samantha) says that some of Sam's layers include “her feisty side with sharp comebacks and a strong, dangerous persona when she is most vulnerable.” She also calls Sam “witty, sarcastic, manipulative, charming, caring, loving, and always one step ahead of everyone.

Because she is also a werewolf she has advanced smelling.

Sam's 5 senses are all heightened to a considerable degree above average vampires and this means he can know things that happening miles away.
Poisonous Skin -[]
If she chooses Sam can make her skin poisonous due to her being the child of the Original Preeminent Vampire. This toxin was designed so that Preeminent Vampires could get revenge if they died and it is fatal to most supernatural beings. The toxin spreads within 1-2 hours and it slowly eats away at your insides until you can no longer move. Then it completely rips you apart. Original Vampires and Primordial Werewolves are partially immune to this, though it just makes them weak. Sam similar to her father decided that she would not use it against anyone unless he knew he couldn't win, the opponent was stronger than him, or she was on her last bit of life.

Sam has enhanced durability meaning that she is less susceptible to physical attacks and does not get hurt from them as easy as others usually would.

Sam possess Immortality, as such she will live forever. If she were to die she would soon come back within a matter of minutes, and If she were to have children with a mortal (i.e a human or werewolf) than that child would be born with extreme longevity.

She can communicate mentally with other werewolves And Can Telephatically Cause Pain to Others
Lie Detection -[]
Primordial Werewolves are able to sense if you're lying or not, they also don't need to only listen to a person's heartbeat to tell. This power can be used without transforming as well and because Sam is half of one she can do so too.
Immunity To Silver -[]
Since she is a werewolf sam is immune to silver.
Anger -[]
When a Primordial werewolf is furious, their anger increase all their powers and abilities for a short period of time, as well as can have an advantage over another species. This power can be used without transforming.
Werewolf Bite -[]
The poison in the bite of a Primordial werewolf is extremely lethal to normal vampires and will kill them in less than 24 hours, but not as lethal to an Original or a Primordial Vampire. If a Primordial bites a human than that human will either die or live within the next 24 hours. If the human survives than she will become a werewolf.
Full Moon -[]
Primordial Werewolves powers and abilities are enhanced and are at their peak during a Full Moon.
Transformation Control -[]
Sam can change into a werewolf at will.
Resurrection -[]
Under the right circumstances Sam can bring back another Primordial or another werewolf.

Sam can force a werewolf to become untriggered, blocking all of their abilities until they kill a human again. This doesn't appear to be an ability that it is known to most Primordials which makes it quite unique.

The Ancient Maple Ash Dagger - []
Sam can be subdued via the Ancient Silver Maple Ash Dagger and she previously was for a year. It is unknown why this is the case because she is a werewolf and therefore is immune to silver.
The Ancient Maple Ash Stake -[]
Sam can be killed using the Ancient Silver Maple Stake and if she is stabbed through the heart with it she will burst into blue flames, and will soon turn to dust
Wolfsbane -[]
When ingested, wolfsbane causes Sam to become severely weak and feverish. Also, If a her skin is exposed to wolfsbane, it will burn her.
Elder Daggers - []
Sam can be neutralized using an Elder Dagger as was shown when her father was subdued for almost a century in 1714.
