Seth Wilson is a main character, protagonist and a shapeshifter on Vampire Diaries. Seth was a former football player at Mystic Falls high school. Seth Wilson' family has been in mystic falls for a very long time, and Seth has known Tyler Lockwood, Jeremy Gilbert and the rest of children of town council since childhood. Seth is the only son of Sam and Addison Wilson, who are both shapeshifters and Seth is the nephew of Mitchell Wilson, who is also a shapeshifter. Seth was raised and born in Mystic Falls, Virginia and Seth and his family are the descendants of Derek, Cody, Allison and Tony Wilson, who were ancestors of the Wilson family. Seth is currently living with his uncle, Mitchell Wilson, his aunt-in-law, Jade Wilson and his paternal cousin, Ally Wilson.
He is best friends with Jeremy Gilbert, Tyler Lockwood, Matt Donovan and Madison Jones. He is also close friends with Caroline Forbes, Elena Gilbert, Bonnie Bennett, Stefan Salvatore and Vicki Donovan. He is also frenemies with Damon Salvatore and Lorenzo St. John.
Seth is a member of the Wilson Family.
Early History[]
Seth Wilson was born to Samuel and Addison Wilson in Mystic Falls Virigina on April 15, 1993. Seth grew up in Mystic Falls, where he became close friends with Elena and Jeremy Gilbert, Tyler Lockwood, Caroline Forbes, Bonnie Bennett, and Vicki and Matt Donovan, remaining close to them all the way to their teenage years. Seth was close with both of his parents, Sam and Addison, as well as his uncle Mitchell Wilson, the younger brother of his father Sam, and he was also close with his first cousin, Ally Wilson, viewing her as his sister more than a cousin.
Appearance[]
Seth is extremely attractive with his russet skin, black hair and dark brown eyes. He has an extremely strong built and is 6'0.
Seth often wears a black leather; a while t-shirt and he does wears light brown shorts a lot. Seth can take the appearance of any animal, but he mostly takes the appearance of a wolf, eagle and a Pitbull dog.
Personality[]
Seth is very helpful, brave and very calm. He does seem to get along with the supernatural hunter, Jeremy Gilbert. Seth does have a bad temper and he used to always get into fight with other students and he would always defend his best friends. Seth dislikes every Mikaelson besides Freya, Rebekah, Hope and Nik. Seth does seem to enjoyed running in dog form a lot, and he does keep his idenity a secret from vampires. Seth doesn't like to be compared to skinwalkers at all.
Seth was a smart and kind kid. He would always help his parents around the house a lot, and Seth would always play with Jeremy and April when they were younger. Seth is always protecting his family, friends and any people from Mystic Falls. Seth is shown to care about his childhood friends very much and He would kill anyone that will harm his family and friends.
Seth is shown to be very vengeful, and He will kill anyone that will hurt his family. Seth is able to control his temper easily and Seth is very loyal to his relatives, childhood friends and his fellow shapeshifters. Seth does dislike Skinwalkers, because they can take the appearance of anyone even humans, and Seth hate wendigos and Sirens a lot. Seth is capable fighter in his animals' forms to protect his family, friends and other good people.
Powers and abilities[]
- Super Strength: Seth is a shapeshifter, which makes him far stronger than humans, supernatural hunters and immortals. Seth's strength's is equal with werewolves and stronger than Skinwalker's, Seth is shown to overpower most supernatural creatures in their animal form. Seth can overpower humans and supernatural hunters in his human form.
- Super Speed: Seth is faster than most supernatural creatures. Seth can move very fast in human and animal form, and he can run faster than humans, supernatural hunters and immortals. Seth can move fast as werewolves and vampires.
- Super Agility: Either in animal or human form he can demonstrate superhuman agility. He has the ability to move, jump very high or down from incredible heights, climb, flip and run incredibly fast without difficulty or exhaustion. He can move with almost gravity defying grace. Seth can jump higher than humans and supernaturals in his human and animal form.
- Super Durability: Shapeshifters can exert themselves for long periods of time without tiring. They can also take far more trauma than humans without much discomfort or injury however they cannot take as much injury as vampires.
- Healing Factor: Posses superhuman regeneration abilities and can heal at a rapid pace. Shifters can heal from most injuries even in their human forms. Shapeshifters can heal faster than humans but slower than vampires and werewolves. werewolves and shapeshifters cannot heal from a broken neck unlike vampires. Vampires heal faster than werewolves and shapeshifters but the shifters are more difficult to injure.
- Shapeshifting: Unlike most werewolves, Shapeshifters can shift at will and they don't have to break their bones at all. Seth can shift faster than most shifters, possibly because he is a full-blooded shifter. Seth can shift at anytime and anywhere, and he has full control over his animals forms and he will shift on full-moon not matter what.

Seth has the typical weaknesses of a Shapeshifter and shape-shifter weaknesses are similar to werewolves.

Jeremy Gilbert[]
Jeremy Gilbert is Seth's best friend, along with Tyler Lockwood and Matt Donovan. Jeremy and Seth have known each other since childhood and they were always together a lot. Jeremy and Seth were casual friends in high school and Seth was there for Jeremy when his parents died. Seth and Jeremy were still close friends during their years in high school, and they would always defend and help each other from any threat. Seth and Jeremy became closer, when they started to fight off the vampires and they would always work together, and Seth does see Jeremy as his own brother.
Tyler Lockwood[]
Tyler Lockwood is Seth's best friend, along with Jeremy Gilbert and Matt Donovan. Seth and Tyler have known each other since childhood as well, and they have always been very close each other till high school. Seth and Tyler didn't get along that well in high school because of Jeremy and Tyler Relationship at the time. They did become close again after Tyler triggered his werewolf gene. Seth decided to move in with Matt, Tyler and Jeremy after his parents' death. Seth decided to help and keep Tyler in check when he is in his wolf form. Seth and Tyler have a brotherly like bond. Seth was very devastated over the death of one of his best friends and he will never forgive Damon for killing his childhood friend.
Matt Donovan[]
Matt Donovan is Seth's best friend, along with Jeremy Gilbert and Tyler Lockwood. Seth and Matt shared a very strong bond. Seth has known Matt since childhood, and they were always together. Seth comforted Matt when his older sister, Vicki Donovan died, and Seth has always had a closer bond to Matt than most of his childhood friends. Seth decided to move in with Tyler, Jeremy and Matt and they would do anything for each other no matter what, and Seth did help Matt with getting rid of vampires in Mystic Falls. Seth and Matt do see each other as brothers. Seth and Matt both grieved over the death of Tyler Lockwood.
Elena Gilbert[]
Elena Gilbert is Seth's Close Friend. Seth and Elena have known each other since childhood as well. Seth and Elena have always been very close to each other, and they have always worked together to defeat their enemies and to protect their family. They shared a very good relationship possibly due to his friendship with Elena's brother and it was revealed by both of them that their fathers were very good friends, and they were always together. Seth and Elena are still good friends, and they are still in contact with each other.
Madison Jones[]
Madison Jones is Seth's best friend and girlfriend. Madison and Seth have known each other since childhood, and they would do anything for each other. Madison Jones is a supernatural huntress, and she has known Seth since childhood, and they have always had a crush on each other. Madison and Seth decided to hunt and kill wendigos and vampires together. Madison and Seth have a very unbreakable bond and they will always protect each other from any threat to their friends, family and anyone in mystic falls.
Sam and Addison Wilson[]
Sam and Addison were Seth's late parents. Seth shared a very close relationship with his parents, and he would always help them with protecting mystic falls, and Seth was very devastated over the death of his parents. Seth, along with his best friend, Tyler Lockwood tries to seek revenge on the original hybrid, Niklaus Mikaelson. Seth gave up his revenge and he is currently mourning the death of his parents. Later, it was revealed that Sam and Addison were watching over their son before founding peace.
Caroline Forbes[]
Caroline Forbes is Seth's close friend. Seth and Caroline have known each other since childhood, and they have always been very close to each other. Seth's father and Caroline's mother were close friends, and they always had a very tight bond. Seth and Caroline used to always spend time together when they were very younger, and Seth does share a close relationship with Caroline, Bonnie and Elena. Seth is currently working at the Salvatore boarding school, and they are still very close to each other.
