Skylar Salvatore is the fourth child of Alexandria Salvatore and Francis Gibson. She is a Vampire who has access to her Witch powers because she is an Original Preeminent Vampire. She was born in 1083.
Early Life[]
Skylar was the most prodigal member of her family whilst in her youth (magic-wise). Her mother was fascinated with her skill and sought to train and in a way exploit her for her magical potential and prowess. By 11 (1094) she was forced to do spells that she didn't want to do with her mother, which led to a disdain for her parent to grow. One night Skylar refused to kill a Rabbit in order to sacrifice it for a spell. When this happened, Alexandria (Skylar's Mother) saw this as a great defiance which caused her to get angered at Skylar's behaviour. Skylar throws a rock at her mother and calls her a "sick women", before running off. Alexandria wouldn't let this happen though, after this show of disrespect and would teach Skylar "a lesson". Skylar would be tied up in the shape of a crucifix and would be continuously tortured by her mother for her actions. Skylar screamed in desperation to not be met with any show of sympathy from her mother. She screamed so loud that it echoed throughout the trees of the forest and caused her brother (Darius Salvatore) to run to her aid. Alexandria would then move away from Skylar for a bit as to heat up multiple weapons. Darius would come to Skylar's aid and would try to cut the rope, but to no avail. He cried in shame and sadness as he didn't wish for his younger sister to be hurt so mercilessly. He believed he had failed as an older brother. As Alexandria returned she would look at Darius with disbelief that he would try to save her and would tell him to go back to their home. When he refused she became increasingly angry which caused Darius to slowly walk away and return home in anguish. Alexandria would then burn Skylar severely with weapons and would cause her to get multiple burns on her body. On multiple occasions Skylar has chosen to hide the burns and make them look like tattoos. When she was old enough that she no longer had to rely on her parents she would leave home and became a Supernatural Hunter. She killed multiple Vampires, Witches and even Werewolves just to kill them and rid them from the world and didn't care about the species (believing that all of them do evil things so why care what species they belong to).
Shortly after this point of history she got the title of the Original Huntress.
1543, Armenia[]
While an killing an unnamed Vampires who resided within Armenia, Skylar would learn of a Werewolf known as Ryker. She spent months researching his exploits and rampages across the globe. His mass slaughtering's of people all for sport, his claim to nobility that was truly a façade, him enjoying torturing others and much, much more. Upon learning that he had built Armenia from the ground up she would burn his favorite town within Armenia to the ground. This town would later become known as Yerevan, Armenia. Later in the same year Skylar would start tracking down Ryker, though because he constantly moved place-to-place it was quite difficult.

Skylar would run across Rami Mikaelson a Vampire that believed that Ryker was his problem since he spared his life many years ago knowing that Skylar planned to kill him or maybe already had he would beg her to let him kill the man but Skylar would refuse killing Rami with a stake through the chest building an immunity to Stakes Rami had a moment to cherish his death "I suppose death was inevitable facing off against one of the Original Preeminent Vampires though I would've wished that I could take out my revenge on one of the other Original Preeminent Vampires Darius Salvatore". "Why Darius Salvatore?" "He turned me into a Preeminent, ripped my heart out, slaughtered my crew in the 1600's, and again in 1812 that man Darius Salvatore took everything I loved and burned it to the ground as if it was a mere sheet of paper and all the while he compelled me to never turn off my humanity. So I felt every second of Darius' Wrath. Ya know I had my revenge planned I would do the same thing to him take everything he loves away from him until he can't take it anymore as I watch as he turns off his humanity and reverts into the Darius the ripper the man that slaughtered my crew and with that change I would smile as all those dear to him leave his life and leave him empty with nothing but rage. But I suppose this is the end... I think death is equally terrible for everyone. Young people, old people, the good, the bad; it’s always the same. It’s rather fair in its treatment. There’s no such thing as a particularly terrible death, that’s why it’s frightening feeling my body cripple away is so so so scary and the worst feeling in the world Skylar if we ever do meet again in the after life or maybe here in the living world I think you owe me a beer or two and we should be friends." Rami would die with a smile on his face looking into the eyes of a distraught Skylar.
Rami would later awaken two days later with the help of the Mana ring
1817, The Darius Stone[]
Per the request of Arcadius would go into The Darius Stone in order to retrieve an Unknown Vampire soul who had stabbed himself with the sword in order to escape Cades punishment. This vampires name was later revealed to be Miles Alexander, (relative of Skylar).
1927, Chicago[]
In 1927 Skylar would finally be able to find Ryker and would track him down to a bar by the name of "Gloria's". After going to Gloria's bar Skylar would finally be able to track Ryker and she would try to kill him. This would prove quite difficult though as he was a Primordial Werewolf. Kylar, Oenomaus, Saskia and Drako (Ryker's siblings) watched the fight go down as various people were evacuated out of the bar. Skylar would soon use magic to bind Ryker's siblings to their seats and would hold down Ryker using the same spell. Skylar then proceeds to insert her hands onto Ryker's chest, before pressing down into it and ripping his heart out. This would cause him great pain though his heart would re-grow to his delight. Skylar laughed as she then pulled out an Ancient Silver Maple Stake. She would then shove it into Ryker's new heart, killing him. Saskia would then break out of the spell and would seek vengeance against Skylar. Skylar smirks and beats Saskia with her hand-to-hand combat alone. Once this happened Skylar would tell Saskia to not get on her bad side or she would kill Saskia like she did Ryker, only resisting to kill Saskia then and there because she found her attractive. When Skylar said this Saskia would question what she meant as she believed that Ryker couldn't die because he was a Primordial. Blue flames would soon erupt out of Ryker's corpse and this would signify to Saskia that her brother actually died, causing Saskia to realize her own "mortality". Skylar moments later would throw Saskia across the bar, knocking her out cold. Once this happened Skylar started pouring lighter fluid all over the ground. She would then pull out a lighter, before throwing it on the floor. The bar would then light up in flames which caused Saskia and her siblings within to have to endure the pain of the flames, still bound by the spell. Once the flames stopped it was later known that it had destroyed multiple photos and things within the bar, leading to massive renovations that needed to be done.
1975, Christmas Eve[]
In 1975 Skylar would learn that Ryker was brought back to life via an unknown resurrection spell and she would track him down. It was December and was Christmas Eve. Knowing that she would like to spend the very day that proceeds the eve of Christmas for her family she would get to Ryker's location quickly. Ryker was within the city of Cherrysville, Louisiana at the time and because of this it would lead to Skylar going here. Due to the city being created by her brother she would easily be able to enter the city and would head straight for Ryker, whilst accompanied by freshly made Maple Ash. When Skylar got to Ryker's estate where he was with her family she would use her superhuman speed to kill run up behind Ryker. She quickly reached into her jar of maple ash and placed it near Ryker, which immobilized him. Familiar with Skylar's face Ryker's siblings would flee in fear and Ryker would be sealed with The Darius Sword by Skylar. As his lifeforce started to become trapped in the stone it would take considerably longer then normal, which lead to Ryker having a small speech. He stated the following. "Maybe I deserve this punishment. For all the things I've done against humanity. All the villages, all the children, all the innocent people ha ha. I think I should be ashamed of myself... but I'm not, and I never will be. Ya know I bet that The Darius Stone isn't as bad as lore suggest. But I-I do feel my soul leaving and escaping into the stone. Is this it?, no... no it can't be, because I am Ryker!."
Shortly after Skylar killed Ryker she would buy herself 2 properties. One in Cherrysville and another in Mystic Falls, Virginia.
Personality[]
Skylar is compassionate, warm, charming, and is generally welcoming to new friends. Despite her beauty and excellent combat skills, Skylar is seen to be the moral compass that keeps her brothers Darius and Cyrus in check in tense situations, though she is also seen to have a bit of a defiant side. Skylar is not afraid to speak her mind and isn't afraid to break rules set in place.
She is a skilled seductress who can seduce any man, into either complying with demands or maintaining confidential information. She enchants pretty much anyone who meets her. She is incredibly comfortable with her body; in the past, she wore revealing outfits with no qualms—a way of standing up to her mother's strict rules.
Skylar is also equally skilled and deadly in battle, particularly when using her weapon of choice: swords, steaks, and her lasso. Skylar can also be feisty though she is very talented, intelligent, and well-educated.
Skylar is very supportive, protective, and loving towards her brothers and sister, urging them to do what makes them happy. She often seeks to comfort those around her, although she also has a strict and disciplinarian side, particularly when it comes to training. She worries about her family a lot, and had a hard time accepting what Cyrus had become after being made into an Immortal and obtaining Immortality.
She is fiercely loyal to her family and loved ones, willing to let go of her own happiness if it will make things better for them. Despite this, she will fight for what she believes is right even if the odds go against her, and would only cede and make the necessary sacrifice or adjustments when she sees the sense in it and how it would contribute to the greater good. She personally hunted and continues to hunt many witches, werewolves, and Vampires depending on who they are because she knows that they are threats to happiness and prosperity within the world. Skylar occasionally will pull out all the stops in order to get what she wants (as was seen when she revived her brother from the dead in order to find The Darius Sword).
Physical Appearance[]
Skylar is described as incredibly gorgeous despite the scars left on her skin from her mother. She has long, ink-black hair that goes down to her waist, and dark brown-gold flecked eyes that are usually mistaken for black. She has the same slender eyebrows, pale, high-colored skin as her brother mother. She is said to greatly resemble her mother, so much so that Ryker mistook her to be her mother when they first met. She is quite tall standing at 5'9", being taller than most boys, and very slim. Despite her looks, Isabelle greatly envied her sister Sabrina, and other girls like her who were small and petite, in the past; though she is happy with her looks, she felt it a hassle to be taller than most boys.
Clothing[]
Skylar is known to be fashionable and occasionally wears a dress. She can also be frequently seen in flexible, combat-ready gear, as well as Supernatural items good for killing certain species. Sabrina once stated that she rarely sees Skylar in anything other than her combat gear since the 11th Century, though she is known to also wear casual clothes. Skylar also has an inclination towards very high heels.

Skylar hates her mother and it started when she practically tortured her for refusing to participate in a spell. She is on good terms with her father though before he died.

Leonardo Williams wrote about it within his journals and philosophers predating him believed that there was a way to kill them, permanently... So if they anger one more time I'll murder all of them. Skylar hates the Primordials and sees them as stains that mark the universe. Her perception of them has rarely changed and when they try to become more human-like she's not particularly fond of it and sees that as trying to change their nature and fool others. On the other hand Most Primordials fear Skylar. Ever since the 1920s they steered clear from her due to the fact that she knows how to kill this species of powerful Werewolves. She killed Ryker in 1927 and sealed him within The Darius Stone when he was resurrected on Christmas Eve.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Enhanced Reflexes: Supernatural Huntresses possess peak-human reflexes. They have demonstrated superior reaction time to those of humans and can dodge offensive attacks and evade strikes from beings with super speed. Rayna was able to wipe out numerous members of the Strix, even catching two of them off guard and immediately killing them. She was also able to shoot several of Julian's vampires, killing them without them even being able to react.
- Immunity to Magic: A Supernatural Huntress's body becomes immune to offensive magic directed at them which seemed to be the work of the Tea of Protection. This is proven when Bonnie tried to use telekinesis on Rayna when the latter attempted to kill her, but to no avail. However, this immunity did not prevent Nora and Bonnie from using a locator spell to find her nor did it hinder a Shaman from transferring her life and abilities to Bonnie. In addition, Rayna could not track Stefan when his scar was blocked by the disruption spell placed on St. James Infirmary.
- Poisonous Blood: Supernatural Huntresses possess blood that is poisonous to witches, even those that are immortal such as a witch-vampire hybrid. Pills made from Rayna's blood were able to block a witch's power and if taken daily for a period of time and will eventually kill said witch. This fatal effect on witches appear to come from the Huntress's immunity to witchcraft.
For a very short time (within the darius stone realm it was ages), Skylar was granted temporary Immortality.
- Immortality: As an Immortal Skylar had Immortality.
- Mind Reading: While within the stone she demonstrated the ability to read the mind and thoughts of Miles Alexander.
*Mind Altercation: Skylar manipulated the mind of Miles by making him believe that it was the 1200s again and that he was being killed as a Human.
- All The Other Abilities of An Immortal: It can be assumed that she had all of the powers and abilities of an Immortal as she was one.
