Southbank is a fictional coastal town in the state of Victoria, Australia with a population of at least 7000. The commercial (central) district of Southbank is based on the Queensland town of Ravenshoe and some of its surrounding areas, the beach district of Southbank is based on the Billinga's beach while the the wharf is based on Port Albert's wharf.
Description[]
Southbank is based on multiple towns of Australia, and is situated on the coast of Victoria. Much like Ravenshoe; people either reside within Town or around the outskirts of the town. It shares some aspect with Billinga; a beach in the Gold Coast such as its beach.
History[]
Many years ago, Mako Island was formed 50 km off the Coast Australia, the magic that encompassed the island seemed to take an effect on the town as a result; it became a safe haven from all temporal, magical, and supernatural distortions. While its unknown what caused the temporal shifts in the Omega Universe's version of events in The Originals and Legacies; it would seem that in the Southbank wasn't affected in anyway.
