Tayana is a glamorous, stern, proud, and sometimes haughty, but still a soft-hearted werewolf, devout to her pack. She follows the rules of the pack but is also willing to break them to protect her family. Although she often did have a incestuous relationship with her child (Rayne Salvatore) she genuinely loved and cared about her; one of her greatest fears is losing her forever.

Tayana had long dirty blonde hair that had some braiding throughout them. She also had ice blue eyes and a small but muscular build.
