The Fracture is the eighth part of Chapter Two of H2O
Story[]
It was 19th of September at Patricia Giblert's House; Cleo Sertori, Emma Gilbert, and Rikki Chadwick were with Julia Kyle who was just told about Louise Chatham's death. Julia revealed that she hadn't spoken to Louise since Gracie left the clan. Cleo asked what happened between them and Julia revealed that after she and Louise became Mermaids they were basically ripped from their families by the clan as going back to them could risk the exposure of the Merfolk and after four years with the clan they learned that Gracie planned everything and got them to go with her in order to have them turned. She explained that Louise attempted to kill Gracie, but she stopped her from doing so causing an argue between the three. In the heat of the argument - they split up and left the clan. Julia swam across the Atlantic and India for years while Louise swam in the Pacific and Southern Ocean. They only met up again in 1973 where they tried to patch things up, but a fight occurred. They proceeded to unleash three separate powerful dark magic spells at each with which launch themselves away and the Stone Circle in the shores of Australia absorbed the magic. As a result their friendship was fractured permanently and they went their separate ways.
Meanwhile at the Benjamin House; Will Benjamin was with Zane Bennett and he thanked for saving him before with Zane finally apologising to for bullying for the following years. Will told him that he can see him becoming a better person and Samantha Sertori arrived as she told him that she came from a date with Elliot Gilbert. Samantha told Will that she wanted to research the Stone Circle and wanted to know its significance to the town. Zane told them they should focus on school and leave the supernatural stuff to him. Samantha told him that she was a Sertori due to her blood and that she was involved whether she liked or not. Zane left told them that he will find some research for them to use.
Zane arrived at his house as Harrison Connors was helping himself to a beer. Zane asked for help looking for his father's stuff to which Harrison told him that doesn't know where his father's belonging were. He looked all over and noticed a string under the masterbed. He began trying to pull it out, but he couldn't move it. He noticed an inscription on the string which read "NaNa bariN". Zane read out the name as he channeled his magic into and the masterbed proceeded to lower before opening an accessway to an basement. He went through a filing cabinet before calling Samantha and Will to let them know what he had found.
Burke, Danny, and Murray were swimming in the ocean when they decided to resurfaced back into Southbank. They transformed back into their Human form before getting dressed as Burke told him that he wasn't down with bringing out the ripper from Lewis McCartney. Burke arrived at the clinic and noticed that Lewis was working with an out of town patient. Burke introduced himself as he introduced himself as Carter and brought his dog in for a check-up. Burke asked Lewis if he was sticking to the diet plan and Lewis told him that he wasn't working for him to which Burke responded by stabbing Carter in the neck with a pen causing Lewis to try to save him, but Burke put his hand through Carter's back and told Lewis that if he didn't start feeding - he would feed and he would make it exceedingly painful. Lewis proceeded to drain Carter of blood before placing an cooler of bloodbags in front of him. Carter's wife Angie entered and saw her husband's corpse with Burke stopping her from running as Burke ordered Lewis to feed on her own. Lewis apologised to him and proceeded to drain her of blood. Burke told him that he expected Lewis to continue to feed or he'll kill everyone he loved told Danny and Murray to remain with Lewis, and to make sure he was complying.
Burke and left to go to David Lambert's house and demanded that David come and see him.
Lyla McCartney arrived with Zane and they listened to Julia's tale of the fracture between the trio. Julia told them that Gracie has been missing for the last 30 years. She speculated that the Stone Circle needed two of the three to be eliminated in order for one to take all the Dark magic into themselves. Lyla stated that much magic would give her access to some pretty intense magic.
Samantha and Will were searching the basement and found a page that detailed that the only way to kill a Vampire-Merfolk Hybrid was Yaupon Holly that all other stakes only temporary down them. Another piece from a grimoire revealed information on the Stone Circle. It revealed a Locator Spell that can locate certain places in the Ocean. Sirena appeared and apologised for her abrupt appearance before using a Sleeping Spell on Will and Samantha to cause them go to sleep. Sirena proceeded to leave with the spell, however, Burke arrived with a Paramedic named Rebecca. He told Sirena that he was going to kill her if she didn't had over the spell. Rebecca told her that he has already killed her partner Matt begged to just give him what wanted but Sirena apologised to her and told her that she had to protect her people. Burke proceeded to bare his shark teeth and proceeded to give her a second chance to surrender the spell. Sirena proceeded to use a Pain Infliction Spell on him to force him to let go of her. Sirena grabbed Rebecca and ran off with her as they escaped from Burke.
Ronnie arrived at Patricia Gilbert's house; Patricia greeted him as Elliot Gilbert welcomed him into his house as they were learning Julia's story and he told them that he was aware and told them that he was just trying to find Samantha, but Zane told him that she was researching the Stone Circle with Will. Cleo shot him a look and he told her it was just research. Cleo asked to be taken to her and Julia went with her.
They rushed over to the Bennett House; Burke was awaiting for them and recognised Julia from memories that Thomas planted him with. Cleo and Julia channel each other as they used spell to launch him away as they went in and found Samantha and Will. They work them up and she asked who took, and Julia reacted to the name Sirena. Cleo asked Julia what she knew and Julia revealed that Sirena was a Pureblood Merfolk. She revealed that Purebloods were more formidable than Merfolk like her and the others.
Lewis was still at the clinic as he was downing bags after bags of blood when David Lambert proceeded to use a sedative to knock at Danny and Murray. David told him to stop gorging himself and help him take Danny. Burke returned and noticed that Murray was alone on the floor and both Lewis and Danny was gone. He proceeded to angrily growl that nothing was going his way and proceeded to feed on Angie's and Carter's body.
Ronnie noticed an odd trinket while he was in the basement and noticed that it was VHS tape. He proceeded to take it and Zane gave him the video player so they can play it and they watch as it was recording of Gracie Watsford as she was at the Moon Pool. Ronnie noted that the longer someone's a Merfolk - the stronger they were and if Charlotte Watsford was turned as soon as she was born - she going to be extremely powerful. Julia told him that Ronnie was right and that something was being planned by Gracie.
