The Order

The Order Of The Supernatural or just the order for short is an Organization of Vampires, Witches, Werewolves, Hybrids, and Supernatural beings that even predate the Strix. Even though the Strix Proclaim themselves as the oldest society of Vampiric Beings they in fact are not and the order has records of their existence that date back at least 2 centuries then the strix. they are still quite active and similar to the Strix they serve the purpose of keeping peace between sirelines. They also recount history and seem to think that they know everything and every little detail. They are said to have existed before the 10th century which could very well be true but is convoluted through time. The first known record of their existence was in 1099 A.D.

Rules and Regulations[]

Sovereignty of the Founding Father: As the Order was started by Darius, he holds sovereignty over all of the members, including its current leader. The clause states: "In the absence of a worthy leader, ordinance shall be invoked, and complete dominion shall be restored to Darius Salvatore.".

Constant State of Leadership: If a leader within The Order was to be killed, then said leader would be replaced almost immediately. This is why the order is in a constant state of rule and leadership.

Kinship Between Members: When you are within The Order you must treat others with respect and (only if you wish) view your fellow members as your kin and people who you share familial ties with.

Obligation of Pleasure: Members of The Order must be happy, and have fun. If they are not entertained then there are numerous things put in place that allow for this to change. This rule was stated to be a literal obligation to members of The Order.

Demi Leaders: When there is going to be leaders of The Order and they are still looking for a leader The Order will pick someone to act as a "Demi Leader". A Demi Leader acts as the leader of the order (though they do not have as much privileges as actual leaders). This is why the times that actual leaders of the order reign are sometimes not instant and can be years or even decades apart.

The Winner Gains Headship: If one looks to be a leader of the order they must be over half a century old. In order to obtain leadership the one seeking it can request a duel with the one who holds the (second) commanding position of The Order (The Leader). The leader must except this fight at all times and if they lose within combat (or intelligence) then said winner will become the new leader.

Membership[]

The Order seeks out talented individuals and help them grow. Their numbers include artists, politicians, warriors, leaders and people talented in many other areas. They also have numerous vampire soldiers under their command.

Notable examples include -

Kim Salvatore: Kim was a women samurai in the early 11th Century and fought valiantly as a soldier throughout many wars that have occurred throughout history.
Arthur Stevenson: Before joining Arthur was a Knight and served briefly under the king of Spain.
Ashley Forest: Prior to learning of The Order, Ashley worked as a Tailor. She made the finest of suits, for the finest of men, and even designed the orders signature attire.
Dante Salvatore: Dante is a masterful poet and artist who produces many great works of literature. Dante joined the order in order to please his brother (Darius Salvatore). Dante was also the creator of The Divine Comedy (also known as Dante's Inferno).
Sebastian: Sebastian was a Pirate and was also a prestigious swordsmen. His skills were above average and he was born within "The Golden Age of Vampirism" as he puts it.

Ranks[]

Tyro - First Rank, and typically are below every other ranked members of The Order.

Neophyte - Second Rank, and generally above Tyro ranked members of The Order.

High Warrior - Third Rank, usually being above Neophyte.

Imperial Officer - Fourth Rank, normally situated higher than High Warrior.

Supreme General - Fifth Rank, they also regularly command other lower ranks of The Order and help them become higher ranks. Along with this they train these people within lower ranks in order to become stronger (mentally and physically). this rank is normally just referred to as Master.

Grand Master - Sixth Rank, Grand Masters are (practically always) above Supreme Generals by a large margin in terms of strength (in all areas). The exhibit a high amount of knowledge and normally are older, having an average age of over 500.

Demi Leader - Seventh Rank, Demi Leaders act as temporary leaders of The Order and have power over Grand Masters, meaning that the Grand Masters must abide by their rules until an actual leader is put into place.

Leaders - Eighth and arguably the most powerfullest rank, leaders take commands from no one in the order (except for Darius Salvatore) and command all of the ranks below them. Leaders keep order within the order and are The third most respected members.

Protem Founder - As the ninth position they are known as the second most powerful position of the order. If Darius Salvatore (the founder of The Order) was to be killed then a direct blood relative of his would be called to the throne of the order and would then become the new Founder. Protem refers to momentarily, this is because if there are Protem Founders they would most likely not be for long because Darius would (most likely) be resurrected by the many witches within the order).

Founder - The Tenth and final position of The Order is owned by Darius Salvatore, as he created and founded the order. He has control of everything that occurs within the order, and has complete power over everyone's actions. He is the most respected person within The Order and is known as "The Father of The Order", "The King" or "The Master" by many Order members.

The Darius Force[]

The Darius Force is the a sub-part of The Order that is similar to Rayna's Army, though drastically different in some ways. The Order is a extremely skilled force of fighters who fiercely loyal to Darius Salvatore (more than most Order members). They serve him without hesitation, and if a uprising ever formed within the Darius Force than they would become the new order. This loyalty to Darius is fought to have originated from Darius saving all of their lives at least once (before meeting them fully), although this is not fully true and is only a part of the reason. It is unknown why they're so devoted.

Rayna's Army[]

Rayna's Army became apart of The Order and is a sub part of it. Rayna's Army would become apart of the order after Darius Salvatore became the leader. Darius would combine the two organizations as they share similar goals and ideologies.

The Orders Actions Throughout History -

12th Century The Kingdom Of Thailand[]

In 1238 The Order would go to Thailand. While there they would build multiple building there and would ensure the survival of many Humans and Vampires of Thailand, helping it become a Kingdom.

13th Century Rome, Italy[]

In the 13th Century the Order would devote their time to making sure that all of the information on their leaders birth is taken and they acted as if it had burned. This is to erase all trace of Darius from Italy, although some still remain.

14th Century, Poland[]

in the 14th century the order would go to Poland in order to retrieve, torture, and kill Aldus Charlemange. After he escaped from their custody they would recapture him and condemn him to 200 years of brutal torture. After they freed him Aldus went into hiding.

15th Century Roanoke Colony[]

In the 1500s when the Strix was under Sebastian's rule they would cover the killings of Sebastian and would leave little traces of him even being there.

Throughout The 16th Century[]

Throughout a moderate portion of the 16th century the order was inactive until 1634 when Ashley Forest became the leader of the order. In 1655 The order would also cover up one of Darius' Massacres in London, England, before blaming it on the plague that rampaged the land at the time. The event would go down in history as the 1655 plague.

The Order has also encountered Rayna Cruz at some point as Evelyn, Violet, and even Kim knew who Rayna was when Darius had mentioned her. Rayna killed many Order members while trying to get to Rick Jones, placing them in their own personal hells inside the Phoenix Stone.
They seem to have a history with Supernatural Hunters as they're even familiar with Samara Gilbert. When Arthur Stevenson was being chased across Mystic Falls by Samara, many order members were sealed in The Darius Stone.
Rayna's Army is a separate division of the order, though ultimately the two groups are connected.
There are certain division and bases for the order in different countries (i.e The Japanese Division, Spanish and British Division).
Darius Salvatore created and formed the order in 1099.
